Company History
Established in 1951, Yongji Paint’s Taiwan headquarters has continuously upgraded its equipment over the years, expanding its production capacity to 89,000 tons annually. With a workforce of over 600 employees, it is a leading professional manufacturer of coatings. The company is internationally certified as an ISO 9001-compliant manufacturer and is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Its products are sold both domestically and internationally, earning widespread acclaim.
After relocating to its current site in 1983, the Taiwan headquarters has progressively acquired additional land and facilities, introduced new machinery, computerized color-matching systems, and precision testing equipment, while continuously developing high-end specialty coatings with notable success. Since 1999, the company has established manufacturing facilities in Kunshan, Shanghai, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the United States. Through technical collaborations with world-renowned companies, it produces high-quality coatings for architectural, fire-resistant, anti-corrosive, marine, and color-coated steel coil applications, fully meeting the ever-evolving demands of various industries both domestically and internationally.

Technical collaboration with SIGMA Coatings of Belgium to produce coatings for color-coated steel

Certified as a Qualified Supplier of Paints and Coatings by the Kaohsiung Refinery

Successfully developed the Huoba FM-900 oil-based intumescent fireproof coating, which has been certified by the UK’s WFRC and LPC. The Taiwan headquarters’ shares have been approved for listing and trading.

Purchased the new factory at 28 Haishan 3rd Road
- 2006
May 20: The AMATA factory in Vietnam officially began mass production
June 18: Mr. Zhang Tianyong, founder of Yongji, passed away
August 29: Mr. Zhang Dexiong assumed the position of Chairman at the Taiwan headquarters

The Taiwan, Kunshan, and Vietnam plants have obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The Malaysia plant has been established and has commenced operations, with capital increased to NT$1.62 billion.
